Today I’ll be review the Etude House V-Line Slim Maker in #1 Sun Gold/Wood Brown. I got this in my PrettyLilFace Haul and I thought this little gem deserved a formal review!
Let’s get to the breakdown…
Packaging
This is an Etude House product. So obviously, I love the packaging. It’s also nice and slim with a nice mirror so it’s great for travel. It even comes with a brush (which I didn’t picture 🙁 )
Shade
This is a great shading powder for those of you who have fair skin or who are looking for something that is low maintenance. I say this because it’s not the darkest or most obvious shading powder. However, this ends up being great because it’s build-able. So you can add more for a more obvious contoured look, or apply it normally and get a great daily look. You don’t have to worry about being to heavy-handed or looking muddy. Also, the highlighter is beautiful. So natural and doesn’t have obvious chunks of glitter. I wish the swatches did this product more justice but since this was swatched on my hand (which is much darker than my face) the contour blended in with my skin. I’ve used this is tutorials though so if you’re dying to see it in action, check them out 🙂
Lasting-Ability
As long as you have a primer and a long-lasting foundation, this will last all day. This is because, or course, if your foundation wears off, this will have nothing to stick to!
Consistency
This powder is very smooth so I love that about this powder 🙂 Goes onto the skin nicely and doesn’t look blotchy!
